Norman North's Adrianna Swan: Driven Athlete of the Month – Presented by Landers Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Norman
- Updated: October 16, 2018
By Corey Heim
A senior at Norman North High School, Adrianna Swan competes on the softball team for the Timberwolves.
She has been involved with softball for over nine years after starting the sport when she was in third grade. An extremely energetic kid, she needed to find an outlet to get her energy out and softball became the perfect fit.
When asked her favorite part about competing, she responded with absolute praise for her fellow players and team.
“I enjoy most the feeling when the team is all screaming and chanting together and we have a common goal,” said Swan. “When we really want something we’re all there working together as a team.”
In addition to competing on the softball team, Swan is also an active participant in her school’s National Honor Society and enjoys playing the violin.
Swan is also a strong student at her school. She has averaged a 3.69 GPA throughout her high school years and has found a balance between sports and school. Her favorite class is Forensics because it has a focus on criminal law, something that greatly interests Swan.
After graduating from high school this coming May, she plans to continue her softball career while playing for the East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.
