Noble High School’s baseball outfielder is senior Brandon Rabbitt. He’s been a starter for the Bears for the past three years but has been playing baseball for 15 years, since he was three years old. His sole passion in high school has been baseball.
Rabbitt tries to spend as much time as he can on the field and in the batting cages.
“I attend daily school practices and try to spend at least three hours or more on the weekends practicing,” he said. “Even in off-season I’m practicing as much as time allows between work and school.”
Rabbitt is confident in his team’s upcoming season.
“I think we’ll do pretty well this season,” he said. “We have several returning starters. We all click and I think we can easily win regionals. State will be tough but I’m confident in our abilities and that we’ll do pretty good.”
Rabbitt gives credit to his mother for his accomplishments and what drives him to be who he wants to be.
“No matter what, she’s there, on my side, even in my ups and downs. She’s always been my biggest supporter,” he said.
After high school Rabbitt plans on going to college and would like to continue playing baseball, but he’s not sure just yet.
“I definitely plan on going to college, just not sure where or if I’ll play ball,” he said. “I want to be an architect. I eventually want to build my dream house when I decide to get married.”
